Maharashtra Centre for Innovation, Progressive Legislation and Awareness in Water (M-CIPRAW)
Maharashtra Centre for Innovation, Progressive Legislation and Awareness in Water (M-CIPRAW) set up by the Maharashtra Water Resources Regulatory Authority (MWRRA) , India’s First Regulatory Authority for Water. The main objective of the Authority is to regulate water resources within the State, facilitate and ensure judicious, equitable and sustainable management, allocation and utilization of Water resources, fix the rates for use of water for agriculture, industrial, drinking and other purposes and matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. www.mwrra.org

International Centre for Clean Water (ICCW) under IIT – Madras
International Centre for Clean Water (ICCW) is an initiative by Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IITM) started in 2018, located in IITM Research Park, Chennai, India. A bridge between industry and academia, ICCW is a network of eminent water professionals; it considers being the first of its kind and has been established with the objective of creating water professionals for tomorrow. www.iccwindia.org

The Technion
The Technion – Israel Institute of Technology was founded in 1912 in Haifa and is the oldest university in Israel and the Middle East. The university, where classes started in the winter of 1924/25, offers degrees in science and engineering, and related fields such as architecture, medicine, industrial management and education. Technion is noted as a global pioneer in multidisciplinary research into fields including energy, nto fields including nanotechnology and life science. It has 18 academic departments and 52 research centers and over 13,000 students. Since its founding, it has awarded over 95,000 degrees and its graduates are cited to have brought the unique skills and penchant for innovation which helped conceive and consolidate the modern State of Israel. Technion’s over 610 faculty members include three Nobel Laureates.

Situated on the beautiful shores of the Sea of Galilee, the College has been changing lives for more than 50 years. From offering a number of exciting and unique programs in a range of academic fields, to serving as a dynamic, diverse and innovative campus, to working closely with surrounding communities, we take pride in helping our students, faculty, staff and partners turn new ideas into productive outcomes that change lives. The Water Industry Engineering Department at Kinneret Academic College opened its Bachelor of Science program in Water Industry Engineering in 2010 with the close collaboration of the Israeli water industry. In opening the BSc course, our aim was to train highly-qualified engineers with innovative knowledge, who will be the future leaders of the concerted and urgent effort to fight the threat of water shortage in the country and in the world.

Atulya Ganga Project
The Atulya Ganga Project (2020–2031) is a decade-long national initiative focused on systematic monitoring of River Ganga’s pollution levels to drive measurable improvement and establish a scalable model for rejuvenation of Indian rivers. The project brings together Government bodies, NGOs, volunteer organisations and citizens to work collectively towards revitalisation of the Ganga. Driven by a vision to restore Indian rivers for future generations, Atulya Ganga operates as a committed, apolitical and non-discriminatory organisation, largely led by military veterans, with River Ganga as its sole agenda. The initiative combines scientific rigour with public participation through structured water sampling from source to estuary, adherence to international testing protocols, independent third-party audits, and the use of advanced technologies such as mobile applications, AI and IoT. Through continuous field activities, awareness campaigns and annual water pollution reports submitted to governing authorities, Atulya Ganga enables data-driven action, accountability and sustained public engagement for long-term river health.
